1st Grade Recitation Lesson Plans

$9.00

During the grammar stage of classical education (pre-kindergarten through fourth grade), children’s minds are sponge-like in nature. They are capable of memorizing vast amounts of information. Recitation is a course designed to encourage memorization and proper presentation of chosen content. Some rewards of memorization and recitation include, but are not limited to: increasing the student’s memory, allowing him to experience eloquent language, and assisting him in learning to confidently speak in front of others.

LPL have organized 36-week lesson plans consisting of carefully chosen portions from A Catechism for Boys and Girls. Your child will also learn scripture passages focusing on some attributes of God, countries of Africa and Asia, books of the Bible, and patriarchs. In addition, he will review the pledges from LPL Pre-kindergarten and Kindergarten Recitation Lesson Plans.

You will be amazed at what your 1st Grader is able to commit to memory!
