The LPL Christian Literature List is a wonderful starting place for parents or teachers looking for excellent Christian book recommendations for children.

We have found the selected books to be instrumental in the spiritual growth of our own children.  Because we understand the high calling God has placed on parents to train their children in Him, LPL have selectively chosen biographies portraying godly role models, God-centered Bible storybooks, and scripturally sound devotionals.

LPL have formed a list of favorite Bibles, devotionals, and biographies for children grades pre-kindergarten through fourth grade.  Many of the books recommended span multiple grade levels, providing convenience for families with children of various ages.  Parents and teachers who do not home educate can also greatly benefit from this list.
